Description

Net World Sports Becomes a Suitable FA Goalpost Supplier as Aluminium FORZA Goals Pass Independent Safety Tests

Since their introduction to the thriving FORZA soccer range, our outstanding Alu60 and Alu110 goals have made a lasting imprint on the set-ups of soccer clubs the world over. We take great pride in our Alu60 and Alu110 soccer goals, made from reinforced aluminium for optimum durability, consistency and weather-resistance. From juniors to seniors, FORZA goals are true game-changers, and while we place great faith in the quality of our aluminium goals, safety is also a key factor.

Low-quality and poorly assembled goal-posts put players at risk of incurring injuries. We have full confidence that our expertly manufactured FORZA goals are worthy of earning the safety seal of approval, and set about receiving accreditation from the relevant authorities. There are two FA and BSI safety standards to meet;

BS EN 8462 – for mini-soccer, futsal and junior soccer goals

BS EN 748 – for regulation 11-a-side senior soccer goals

Mini-Soccer, Futsal, Training and Matchdays can all be boosted by our extensive assortment of aluminium goal sizes – all that was missing was a safety guarantee to crown them as the best goals for soccer clubs of all standards.

Certified Stourbridge-based goal safety testers Arbil LTD were tasked with assessing our FORZA aluminium goals based on numerous safety standards. There were no big-match jitters for our Alu60 and Alu110 soccer goals, as their quality manufacturing met – and often exceeded – each required criterion, making Net World Sports a suitable goalpost supplier for the FA.

How Do You Pass Soccer Goal Safety Testing?

  • Goal Dimensions - The testers ensured that our aluminium soccer goals where the correct size.
  • Goal Frame - Each goal frame was thoroughly examined and were found to be rust and corrosion-protected as well as having no dangerous sharp edges.
  • Goal Net - The net twine had a minimum thickness target of 2mm while the square mesh needed to meet a regulation size – both of which hit the back of the net!
  • Goal Net Fixings - Net fixings such as hooks and clips must be manufactured from plastic rather than metal, in the interests of player safety.
  • Goal Strength Test - Machinery was called into play to conduct a ‘pull test’, where downward force was applied to determine the strength of the crossbar
  • Goal Stability Test - The final test for our goals saw them met with horizontal force in order to prove that they wouldn’t topple under pressure.
  • The thorough testing found our FORZA Alu60 and Alu110 soccer goal frames to be stable, smooth and strong, earning a satisfying tick next to each requirement. Net World Sports now have the honour of announcing themselves as a suitable goalpost supplier for the FA.
